Winner Silver Medal.... San Francisco Spirits World Cup 2015.
Dobson's Gin is a fragrant dry gin... it is unique in it's re interpretation of the classic dry style. Bold citrus and corriander balance the juniper and create the rythym section, but it is the floral finish comprised of David Austin rose, lavender and elderflower which drive the deal home. Crisp though the finish is, you will notice that you will salivate after swallowing...a perhaps Pavlovian response to perfection.
The delicious delicate dance of botanicals and light pure spirit, that is expressed in Dobson's Gin is only found in the finest of Gin's. And for good reason, you see Dobson's is one of only a handful of Gin makers in the world to employ the rarest of specialist Gin stills... The Carter head still. There are believed to be less than six working Carter Heads in the world, Thankfully one of them is here at Dobson's.
The Carter head is unique in the way it extracts the Botanicals which make up the molecular soup that is Gin. Instead of coursely extracting by soaking the botanicals in ethanol as most gins distillers do. We do not steep the botanicals in fact not even allowed into contact with the neutral spirit: they are packed into a "flavour basket" through which the 95.6% pure alcohol vapour passes on its way to be condensed back into liquid. Leaving the impurities and volatile oils behind...the resulting gin is light, fragrant and balanced.

This is by far the best gin I have ever tasted. Its aromas are amazing from the second you open the bottle until you have finushed the drink. I had a friend walk into the kitchen and as they sat down near my drink asked what the beautiful smell was. Simply devine!

Having spent a lifetime mixing and drinking G&T's, I've got to the stage where I'm even "choosy" about what Tonic I use.
Well what a surprise I got with this one!!!
Very pleasant indeed, with a beautiful after taste making you want to go back for more.
As a first purchase from these artisans, it left me wondering why I only purchased one bottle.
I have to visit

Believe the reviews! I first received a bottle of Dobson's for my 30th and it disappeared in less than a week. This is by far the best, most sessionable gin I've ever tried. The botanicals are light and floral, and the elderflower notes makes it the most moreish spirit I've tasted. This is now my go-to gin for any occasion and we always have a bottle handy. If you didn't like gin before, this will make you a convert!

I didn't think it was possible for me to ever consider a different brand of gin as a favourite, but Dobson's gin have changed my mind. The flavour is light, botanical and very refreshing. Love it!

We had the pleasure of being given a bottle Dobson's gin for Christmas. Lucky us! It's smooth, very botanical and delicious. Great in a G&T.

We were given a bottle of your superb gin for Christmas. Lucky us! It's very good - perhaps the best gin we've ever tasted. It has a clear taste and is botanical. Fabulous in G&Ts. We've now bought it as a present for several friends.

I read about Dobson's distillery in a local magazine and decided to try some gin for Christmas. I have since read the review on gin on the Gourmet Traveller site. Dobson's gin got the gong for best gin for gin and tonic. Great decision to buy and can't wait for Christmas to have a G & T.

This gin has a smooth, fresh flavour, which makes it dangerously easy to drink.
